About This Role
An international EPC contractor is seeking an FPSO Project Control Manager for their Kuala Lumpur team. You will be responsible for project planning, cost control, and performance monitoring across FPSO project portfolios, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project control systems: scheduling, cost control, and reporting
- Establish project WBS, cost breakdown structures, and progress measurement systems
- Monitor project performance against baseline schedule and budget
- Prepare Earned Value Analysis and project performance reports
- Identify schedule and cost risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams on progress tracking
- Manage change management process and impact assessments
- Support project forecasting and cash flow projections
Core Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of project controls experience on major oil and gas / offshore projects
- Strong scheduling expertise (Primavera P6) and cost control systems
- Experience with Earned Value Management and project performance analytics
- Knowledge of FPSO/EPC project execution and milestone tracking
- Analytical mindset with strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- AACE CCP or PSP certification
- Experience as Project Control Manager on FPSO or SURF EPC projects
- Knowledge of project risk management and Monte Carlo simulation
