Lead Instrument / ICSS Commissioning Engineer

About This Role

The ICSS is the brain of the FPSO and this is our most critical technical hire. We need a Lead Instrument/ICSS Engineer who can commission the entire control and safety system from FAT through to First Oil.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of DCS, ESD, and FGS systems for the FPSO
• Develop ICSS commissioning procedures and test protocols
• Oversee FAT/SAT activities for control and safety systems
• Execute loop testing, functional testing, and cause-and-effect verification
• Coordinate with vendors (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa) for system configuration
• Manage ICSS commissioning team of 2-3 instrument technicians
• Lead the ICSS integration testing with subsea and utility systems

Core Requirements

• 12+ years instrument/ICSS experience in offshore oil & gas
• Expert-level knowledge of DCS, ESD, and FGS systems
• Proven commissioning experience from FAT through to operational acceptance
• Strong understanding of ISA, IEC 61511, and API 554 standards
• Valid BOSIET/FOET certification

Preferred Qualifications

• FPSO ICSS commissioning lead experience
• SIS validation experience
• Brazilian offshore project experience
